The United States has exposed surveillance scandals for decades! The CIA was exposed to stealing encrypted documents from many countries.
CCTV News:It is not uncommon for the United States to monitor its own country and other countries and obtain information. Recently, the US Central Intelligence Agency was exposed to "stealing and deciphering multinational encrypted files through a Swiss encryption equipment manufacturer", which allegedly lasted for decades, and the countries where the files were stolen included the "allies" of the United States.

According to a joint investigation by the media in the United States, Germany and Switzerland, the Swiss encryption equipment manufacturer "Clepto AG" was once secretly owned by the CIA and the then Federal German intelligence agency, and the two intelligence agencies could easily crack all confidential documents transmitted by using this company’s encryption equipment through deliberately implanted "vulnerabilities".
The report said that "Clepto AG" cooperated with the US military for the first time during World War II to provide encryption transmission equipment for the military. In the next few decades, the company grew into a giant in encryption equipment manufacturing, and its products were sold to more than 120 countries and regions around the world.
In 1970, the CIA and the then Federal German Intelligence Agency jointly secretly acquired the company "Krypto AG". Since then, many governments have paid high fees to buy encryption equipment, but they do not know that their most confidential information will eventually be held by the intelligence agencies of the United States and Germany. The survey also found that the governments of Israel, Sweden, Britain and Switzerland are likely to know the practices of the German intelligence agencies and be allowed to "share" some information.
According to the customer list of this company published by Washington post, USA, 62 countries, regions and institutions around the world, including the United Nations, Japan, Italy, Turkey, Iran, India and Pakistan, are among them. According to the report, Russia, China and North Korea have not purchased encryption equipment from this company.
Washington post reported that after the reunification of Germany, Germany’s shares in the company "Krypto AG" were acquired by the CIA, and in 2018, the CIA sold the company. From 1970 to 2018, the United States and Germany stole multinational encrypted files. At present, the CIA and the German Federal Intelligence Agency refused to respond to this report.
After this intelligence theft scandal in the United States was exposed by the media, there were voices in Germany and Switzerland related to this action asking for investigation and expressing concern.
In Germany, several Bundestag members asked the government to investigate the matter thoroughly.
In Switzerland, some media believe that this incident will probably affect Switzerland’s "neutrality" in international events as a "permanent neutral country" in the future. The New Zurich newspaper said that Switzerland has always been famous for its neutrality in international affairs, and Swiss technology companies also rely on the neutrality of the country to develop their business — — However, if "Clepto AG" was actually part of the CIA’s monitoring network until two years ago, it would affect the reputation of the entire Swiss industry and thus damage its competitive advantage.
Analysts pointed out that the United States has always regarded itself as a "cyber security guardian", frequently accusing other countries of launching cyber attacks, but ignoring its own blemishes. In fact, by monitoring, stealing information and sabotaging in secret, the United States’ bad behavior in the field of network security emerges endlessly, but it also constantly accuses other countries of sabotaging network security, which can be described as a thief shouting to catch a thief and beating a rake. This double-standard behavior highlights the hegemonic thinking of the United States.
