Promote the integration and innovation of cutting-edge science and technology
"It is necessary to face the world’s military and technological frontiers, face the modernization of national defense and the army, unite the wisdom and strength of the military and the land, give full play to the advantages of all parties, and form an overall synergy to promote the integration and innovation of cutting-edge cross-science and technology." On October 19th, the 4th Frontier Interdisciplinary Science and Technology Forum hosted by National University of Defense Technology and hosted by its Frontier Interdisciplinary College was held in Changsha, Hunan Province. Chen Jinbao, Vice President of National University of Defense Technology, said in his opening speech.
According to reports, this forum mainly focuses on topics such as cutting-edge scientific and technological innovation, interdisciplinary integration, and interdisciplinary research results, focusing on advanced photonics, precision measurement, and smart earth to conduct in-depth discussions and exchanges.
Academician Du Jiangfeng, President of Zhejiang University, pointed out in his report that in the past 30 years, with the great progress of experimental technology, people have reached a new height in the regulation of spin, and now they can control and measure the quantum state of a single spin with high precision at the microscopic scale, which brings great opportunities for opening a brand-new spin application.
Academician Wang Chi, director of the National Space Science Center of China Academy of Sciences, pointed out that in the 21st century, a new round of lunar exploration mode has changed from single scientific exploration to paying equal attention to science and application, and from single mission to multi-mission joint exploration. Different from a single mission, the lunar research station will have the characteristics of large-scale, long-term and multi-point synchronous observation, providing the best place for lunar scientific exploration and observation and scientific experiments.
"The basic research of nano-optoelectronic integration is a new direction with interdisciplinary properties, and it is a new generation of information technology that can meet the important needs of information generation, transmission, exchange, perception, storage and processing in the post-Moore era." Academician Zheng Wanhua of the Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences believes that the development of basic research on nano-optoelectronic integration can get rid of the limitations of high-end lithography technology and equipment while complementing the advantages of optoelectronics.
It is reported that the Frontier Cross Science and Technology Forum has been successfully held for three times and is an important academic brand with extensive influence in this field. A total of 6 academicians, more than 600 experts in related fields and young scholars participated in this forum. (Reporter Zhang Qiang correspondent Li Xingyu Shi Sha)
