The number of people participating in basic medical insurance, maternity insurance, work-related injury insurance and unemployment insurance in the city was 2,001,800, 1,139,400, 1,307,000 and 1,063,600 respectively, increasing by 122,600, 39,700, 10,000 and 30,600 respectively over the previous year. Opinions on supporting the construction of medical associations and the implementation of the family doctor system were issued. Hai ‘an County, Haimen City and Rudong County issued detailed rules for the implementation of the basic medical insurance for urban and rural residents, and integrated the medical insurance for urban residents and the new rural cooperative medical system.

[Maternity Insurance] In 2017, Nantong City introduced maternity insurance measures to achieve municipal-level coordination of maternity insurance. The number of people participating in maternity insurance in the city was 1,139,400, an increase of 3.15% over the previous year, including 451,300 in urban areas, an increase of 4.08% over the previous year. The city’s fund income was 350 million yuan, the fund expenditure was 390 million yuan, the current deficit was 40.67 million yuan, and the accumulated balance was 309 million yuan.

[Work-related Injury Insurance] In 2017, Nantong City issued the Notice on Relevant Issues Concerning the Participation of Institutions and Institutions in Supplementary Work-related Injury Insurance. On September 20th, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security held a national seminar on industrial injury insurance in Yinchuan, and Nantong made an introduction to the experience of "pilot project of industrial injury insurance prevention".

[Unemployment Insurance] Since January 1, 2017, the proportion of unemployment insurance contributions in Nantong has decreased from 1.5% to 1%, of which the proportion of unemployment insurance contributions payable by employers has decreased from 1% to 0.5%, and the proportion of individual contributions is still 0.5%. The city issued 116 million yuan of job-stabilizing subsidies to 3,338 enterprises. According to the minimum wage and the urban and rural minimum living standard, adjust the unemployment insurance premium.
