The innovation and development of cultural undertakings focus on the training and application of advanced artificial intelligence models, which will effectively support the rapid development of generative artificial intelligence in China cultural undertakings.

As the key development force of digital culture, computing power has formed a new pattern of cultural innovation and opened a new track for cultural computing power network. It is a new cultural productivity and development force that integrates information computing, data storage and network carrying in the development of cultural digitalization. In 2018, the first China Cultural Computing Conference was held. Some scholars believe that this marks the "comprehensive start of systematic research on cultural computing in China". Generative artificial intelligence is empowering cultural computing power and consolidating the cornerstone and base of high-quality cultural development.

According to the evaluation report of International Data Corporation in 2022, the computing power index is promoting the continuous growth of the country’s digital economy and gross domestic product, including general computing power and special computing power. Therefore, the improvement of cultural computing power will promote the reform of cultural supply side and the improvement of cultural service power. The development of generative artificial intelligence model needs cultural computing power to keep pace with the times. From the perspective of computing power platform, it needs to improve the computing power with ultra-high computing density, ultra-large-scale computing power and ultra-fast training speed. Generative artificial intelligence needs to build a wider computing power network in time and space, so that computing power can break through the limit of cultural single point performance and provide a larger, more efficient and more ubiquitous computing power supply scheme for the digital intelligent transformation of cultural institutions.

The connotation of computing power network is embodied in the following aspects: adjusting computing power by network, integrating computing power by network and strengthening computing power by network. In October 2019, the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee added "data" as a factor of production, reflecting the important role of data in the era of digital transformation. The implementation of digital China strategy needs high-level data element configuration to improve data science ability, and the development of high-quality cultural digitalization is inseparable from high-quality cultural data governance. The proportion of artificial intelligence used in China and the huge amount of data generated will make China the largest data circle in the world. Therefore, we should activate the potential and value of cultural data elements through high-quality cultural data governance.

In the process of mass data generation, data science ability should be planned as the strategy and core ability of cultural institutions’ innovation and development. The large-scale application of artificial intelligence is unstoppable, and the lack of computing power of existing artificial intelligence is an urgent problem to be solved. In the development of cultural undertakings, the efficient storage, processing and presentation of multi-source heterogeneous data in national cultural venues in provinces, cities and counties will be accelerated through generative artificial intelligence, which will change the past lack of data analysis support and rely only on some experience to analyze and study the history of cultural undertakings. Using the pre-estimated results of system simulation and integrating multi-group, multi-scene, multi-time and multi-probability simulation processes will greatly improve the efficiency of cultural decision-making and reduce possible costs, and take the lead in realizing cultural decision-making in the national strategy of building a digital twin city according to local conditions.

In the face of cultural data such as cultural space places, cultural service groups, cultural service contents, cultural creative products, and cyberspace traffic, it is necessary to continuously improve the ability of collection and integration, the ability of data analysis and mining, optimization and screening, and application modeling, and obtain the corpus, data and analysis results needed for high-quality development through the targeted model of generative artificial intelligence, so as to provide scientific predictions and decisions for the development of cultural undertakings and realize the integration and innovation of cultural services empowered by generative artificial intelligence.

Under the environment of integration and platformization of general tools of generative artificial intelligence, the new fields and new tracks generated by it will benefit the general public, thus enhancing the sense of cultural acquisition and happiness. However, it should be noted that in the process of empowering cultural undertakings with generative artificial intelligence, in order to overcome the problem of single-point application and individual development, generative artificial intelligence should run through the whole life cycle of cultural service system, such as creative production on the supply side of cultural products, interactive feedback on the demand side of cultural services, and dynamic flow of cultural service space. In the top-level design, the overall layout and coordination of cultural computing resources should be strengthened, and the comprehensive supply capacity of cultural computing power should be improved, so that massive and complicated cultural data can be visualized through the new technology of generative artificial intelligence.

We should strengthen the awareness of opportunities and risks.

The new technology represented by generative artificial intelligence is developing with each passing day, so we should think calmly, deal with and avoid all kinds of risks it is bringing. To enhance the awareness of opportunities and risks, we should not only accurately recognize this great change, but also move forward with a scientific and rational attitude. At the same time, we should take the initiative to follow the trend, firmly grasp and make good use of this new strategic opportunity, and be good at turning crises into opportunities and capturing and creating opportunities for the development of cultural undertakings in all kinds of risk difficulties.

In the continuous evolution of new technologies, is there any wisdom that can change constantly? To answer this question, we need to always put the human factor first. Because there will be errors in the content generated in the synthesis of huge amounts of data, the identification of the authenticity and the judgment of infringement ethics of cultural and scientific research products formed through editing and assembly, plagiarism and manuscript washing have to rely on human wisdom.

With the development of generative artificial intelligence, natural language processing in the cultural field is also undergoing tremendous changes, and its development trend is forming a symbiotic form of human natural language and artificial intelligence language. Because there are many and miscellaneous sources of existing research data, when high-quality and low-quality data are mixed together, artificial intelligence can easily learn "wrong data", which is wrong at the beginning, which will naturally affect efficiency and even accuracy, and intelligent recommendation algorithms can easily form an information cocoon with single and one-sided knowledge, which needs to play an irreplaceable role in human brain wisdom. Human-computer collaboration is undoubtedly the future development trend. At the same time, generative artificial intelligence also causes more problems in the reality of human body, voice and image, which requires technology and human wisdom to distinguish.

Under the background of great changes in the past century and the continuous updating and iteration of the new generation of information technology, the boundaries of generative artificial intelligence are constantly expanding, which will have a far-reaching impact on data security and even national cultural security. Therefore, it is necessary to reconstruct the generative artificial intelligence ecosystem in the national cultural field, achieve innovative breakthroughs in artificial intelligence algorithms, further strengthen data security and algorithm supervision, actively participate in the governance of international data ecology, and promote the formation of a community of world data ecological security governance.

Generative artificial intelligence is rapidly incubating the big model of this industry in the cultural field, and can be efficiently applied to various institutions and service scenes in cultural industries such as libraries, museums, art galleries, operas, music, dances, dramas and intangible cultural heritage. The rapid iteration of the new generation of information technology has promoted the development of new cultural productivity, and any new format generated from it is a process of continuous cultivation. This will constantly lead to changes in the development mode, development motivation, development field and even development quality in the cultural field, thus promoting high-quality development in the cultural field.
